RIGID CORE, MOLDED SILICONE RUBBER

COMPOSITE MATERIAL

FEL-PRO® CORK-LAM®
- For applications such as the Chevrolet small-block and big-block V8 engines
- Metal core with cork-rubber material bonded to both sides
- Provides a thicker-than-normal gasket with exceptionally good torque retention
- Thickness allows for clearance between valvetrain and valve cover
RUBBER-COATED FIBER
- Used for some high-heat applications where the valve cover is near the exhaust manifold
- Stiff fiber material coated with latex rubber resists high temperatures
FEL-PRO® BLUE STRIPE® CORK-RUBBER
- Evenly-sized cork particles evenly distributed throughout a rubber binder create a compressible gasket without leak paths
- Generally a little thicker than their standard passenger vehicle counterparts
